We are committed to ensuring the privacy of our users. MyAbodo does not require you to submit an e-mail address or any other personally identifying information. If you wish to send an abodo to a friend, we do ask for an e-mail address so that your friend can see that the e-mail is coming from you. We will not display this e-mail address on the site, use it to send unsolicited e-mails or share it with anyone else. The information gathered when creating your abodo (nickname, location, description and your abodo choices) is not validated so you can enter whatever you like. This information is made visible to other visitors to the site as part of your abodo in the abodo neighbourhood. Text entered in these publicly visible fields may be subject to post-moderation (see moderation policy below).

MyAbodo is a project funded by Defra and delivered by Delib, School Councils UK and the NAEE.
MyAbodo allows you the chance to fill out custom text fields, some of which are publicly visible. The site therefore operates a moderation policy to ensure comments are appropriate. As there is no repeat log-in or user management, comments which break site rules will simply be replaced with a *moderated* entry.
